Maheshbabu complete schooling at St. Bede’s Anglo Indian Higher Secondary School, Chennai He was an above average student and active in sports in childhod.

Mahesh Babu started his film career in childhood (four years) with the film “Needa” directed by Dasarai Narayanarao. During 1983-1990 , he appeared in Poratam, Sankharavam, Bazaar Rowdy, Mugguru Kodukulu, Gudachari 117, Koduku Diddina Kapuram, Balachandrudu and Anna Thammudu.
1999-2026
1999: His debut film is “Raja Kumarudu” starring “Preity Zinta” as the female lead. The movie is produced by C. Aswani Dutt and directed by K. Raghavendra Rao.The movie is considered as a super hit. The movie budget is ₹4 Cr and it collected ₹16 Cr.
In 2000, he acted in yuvaraju movie directed by y.v.s choudhary and the movie is declared average. The same year under B.Gopal direction he acted in Vamsi movie and the movie is Flop. During this movie shoot, Maheshbabu got closer to Namrata later they became husband and wife.
